SPRING CONCERT SEASON CONTINUES

GCB has had a busy spring concert season. The annual GCB/LDS community concert was a smash success with the band sounding better than ever! We got rave reviews and honored outgoing conductor Ron Brooks for his many years of contribution in leading GCB.  We played Delmar Gardens on May 4^th and Barefoot in the Park on May 7^th. The “Barefoot” concert was dedicated in memoriam of our clarinetist, Terry Akridge. We give tribute to this great lady who so generously gave of her talent and resources for so many years to GCB. The band was richer for her contributions; we’ll leave a chair open for her.

Next up is the GCB concert at Clairmont Oaks on May 23rd and the Suwanee Memorial Day concert on May 27^th. Keep your horns tuned and polished, and your band shirts clean!
