Gwinnett Community Band :: Come on out and play!

The Gwinnett Community Band (GCB) is a non-profit group of adult musicians from throughout the Atlanta area. Established in 1984, the band performs quality music for public enrichment and provides ongoing performance opportunities for enthusiastic adult amateur musicians.

Nationally, the GCB has given memorable performances at conferences in St. Louis, Missouri, and Gainesville, Florida. In the Atlanta area, the band has entertained thousands of people at:

The Gwinnett Civic Center
The Atlanta Botanical Garden
The Mall of Georgia
The World Congress Center
Thrasher Park, Norcross
Duluth Amphitheater
Georgia International Horse Park
Lake Lanier Islands
Annandale Village
Televised concerts from Stone Mountain Park
And many other venues throughout the Atlanta Metro area

The GCB is proud of its' strong local involvement. The band performs regularly at senior centers and for civic events throughout the area, and gives occasional performances in the Meadowcreek Auditorium.

Our Music Director

Ron Brooks is the Director of the Gwinnett Community Band. He has distinguished himself for more than 20 years in conducting some of the region's most successful and outstanding bands. Mr. Brooks has an MA in Music Education, and has long been an enthusiastic supporter of the Gwinnett Community Band as a member, Assistant Director and Director.
