The goal of the Gwinnett Community Band is to entertain the community using music. Our performance season extends throughout the entire year. We have a large library of music from which our director will choose a program especially suited to the theme of your event. We do need sufficient notice to prepare for special events. In order to provide an enjoyable experience for your audience, we need to make sure that the performance site meets certain minimum conditions. If you are looking for that full, powerful concert sound, we’ll need a fan-shaped space (approximately 2,500 sq. ft) to accommodate 50 or more musicians. If you are looking for a more intimate experience, we can provide as smaller ensemble. We’ll need a performance area for 40 musicians (approximately 1,500 square feet). Although as a non-profit organization, we don't charge a set fee, performance donations allow us to cover expenses such as insurance, and purchase new music and instruments.
